  • C.R.E.A.M.

There are many times when I just reeeally hate money.

Or it could just be because I don't have a lot of it.
Or because I'm trying to attain things I can't or am not supposed to have.
Or because I worry about it more than I should since my mom constantly reminds me of my/our lack of it.

But right now is one of those moments when I really don't like how it rules our lives. I wish it didn't.

    Wishful thinking!

    Sigh.

  • Technology & Cheese Overseas

These past few weeks have been one where I'm very thankful for technology.

Today, I say: God bless skype! lol but really... Technology is being very good to me.

Thank you, Skype, for letting me see and talk to my future hubby at the same time.
Thank you, Skype, for letting me hear him speak and laugh (and beatbox?).
Thank you, Skype, for letting me say hi to his friends!
Thank you, Skype, for letting me satisfy his "can you put your bangs down? i miss them =P" request.

Lastly, cheesily, and with all that I am, thank you, God, for Jason Tran.

    P.S. I need a more substantial entry up here soon, don't I? =P

  • The Music of the Night at the Opera

What I once used to dream...
    I've now dreamt...

Man, how do you put into words a dream come true? Seriously?! Haha, it's been my dream to see The Phantom of the Opera on stage for about three years now, and I finally got it on my 20th birthday and on November 3, 2007. I feel indebted to my boyfriend, my bestest bestest bestest friend, my love, Jason Tran, for being too unbelievably charming, amazing, and perfect; I feel so undeserving! Haha.

Back to what this entry is about - how in awe I was when I watched The Phantom of the Opera on stage. But how? Man, I'm so speechless! I kept shaking Jason's hand and smiling cheesily and going "EEEEE!!!! Omgasss, we're here! Omgasss, Jasonnnnn... thank you, babe... ahhhh!!!! Omgasss, we're going to our seats! THE STAGE!!!! Omgasss, we're actually here!." The first notes played of the Overture and seeing the great flash of light and... man. Just so amazing. All the actors and actresses voices were beautiful and wonderful; Christine was gorgeous, I have to say.

I think "Think of Me" and "The Phantom of the Opera" were my favorite scenes... but then I don't, because I loved the whole thing! And the special effects!??!?! Oh my gasss. So awed and amazed am I.

And yes - I teared during "All I Ask of You." You know it was coming. Haha.

This entry almost feels pointless because I wanted to write as descriptive as possible all that I felt when I saw The Phantom of the Opera, but I'm so super speechless!

So in other not-so-Phantom-related news, Jason and me were matching black & white. He looked pretty darn good in his white collared shirt and black silk(?) tie, hehe.

Siiiigh, I was in the presence of my two loves for life: Jason and The Phantom [of the Opera]. Haha.

    Ok. Speechless entry finished.

  • Love is...

So... if they say that it's natural and okay to be jealous when it comes to someone you love because that shows that you really do love them, why does the Bible say "Love is not jealous"?

I read somewhere that you'll "know" it's love when you can put each other's names in place of "love" in 1 Corinthians 13, so when you get to that line "Love is not jealous," what then?

Haha, sorry. Just a thought. But I'd really like to know anyone's thoughts on it.

P.S. I'm not in a situation where I'm jealous of someone nor am I in a fight with Jason lol. I just wonder because before, some other people (including Jason) said that to be jealous shows that you care, and a few days after that I read that thing (you'll "know" it's love...), and then it sparked the argument in me head.

    P.P.S. I love Jason Tran!
